Rangnick speaks on regrets about taking Man Utd job. Ralf Rangnick, the temporary manager of Manchester United, has stated that he has no regrets about accepting the position.
Last December, Rangnick took over for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a temporary basis.
The German will transfer over to Solskjaer’s permanent successor this summer before returning to Old Trafford for a two-year consulting position.
Rangnick speaks on regrets about taking Man Utd job. Rangnick’s arrival was supposed to kickstart a turnaround at United, but he’s only won nine of his 22 games in charge, and the squad is still failing to qualify for the Champions League.
They are now in seventh place in the Premier League, six points outside the top four, and face bottom-placed Norwich on Saturday.
Rangnick, on the other hand, claims he has no regrets about taking the post, but acknowledges he is dissatisfied with the way things are going.
“No. No regrets whatsoever. I would do it over and over again,” he told reporters.
“I don’t regret that at all. As a manager you always have to question and ask yourself what you could have done better, if I could have played with a different formation in certain games, if a substitution could have been done earlier. This is what always happens: we always ask ourselves questions- what we could have done better.”
